I have a new Roku TCL Super High Def TV. On the Roku tv, HDMI 1 port is set for my Amazon Fire Stick. I use the Universal Harmony Remote 700 to perform this action. However, the tv screen is black(or blank) until I press the enter key on the Amazon Fire Stick Remote. Is there a way to be able to press the key on the Harmony 700 Universal remote that will also open up the Amazon Fire Stick with the enter key on the Amazon Fire Stick Remote already pressed, so I don't have to also click on the Fire Stick remote to bring up the Amazon Fire Stick Home Screen?Thanks,Steve.
The inside circle button (the one used to 'wake up' the Fire Stick from sleep mode) on the Fire Stick remote (FSR) ( is con side the 'enter' key, so try whatever 'enter' button your universal remote has. The 'down' button on the FSR also wakes it up, so try that one, too.If neither works, you may just need to play around and try every button till you find one, if any, that works. Some universal remotes have settings that will lock specific buttons to only one device, no matter which device the remote is selected to operate at the given time. If your remote has something like that and set to ON, turn it off and try waking up the Fire Stick again.There may not be many (if any at all) customer volunteers with that same remote to answer your question.
