Midi Keyboard Not Recognized Mac
Hi there,Big problem, my midi keyboard Prodipe 49n is not recognized at all by my new iMac.Nothing wrong with the keyboard itself or the cable, cos I'm perfectly able to plug it on my macbook and everything's fine.No driver whatsoever to install, and again, it's supposed to be plug n play. Sims 4 cheats ui. But no plug n play on my iMac.I compared my imac and my macbook's midi settings on Logic, they're the same.I tried reseting midi drivers under logic midi settings, nothing. I tried the keyboard under GarageBand, nothing.Any idea? I'm really desperate, as I can't bring it back, because it's prefectly working with my macbook. Hi there,Yeah plug in USB. Same OS X version.Yamahadrums, I did that on my iMac.
But nothing happened. On my macbook, the keyboard is in Audio Midi setup, and I never did anything about it, it appeared by its own.

But not in my iMac. I tried to fake it, by adding a new midi device, with the same names and else as on my macbook, but still nothing.Any other ideas?I think it's my iMac that has a problem. I tried restarting it 3 times already, but still nothing. Isn't there general midi drivers that you're supposed to install? Delete the User PreferencesYou can resolve many issues by restoring Logic Pro back to its original settings. This will not impact your song files.
To reset your Logic Pro user preference settings to their original state, do the following:In the Finder, go to /Library/Preferences. Note: The tilde represents your Home folder.Remove the com.apple.logic.pro.plist file from the Preferences folder.
Note that if you have programmed any custom key commands, this will reset them to the defaults. You may wish to export your custom key command as a preset before performing this step. See the Logic Pro User Manual for details on how to do this.
If you are having trouble with a control surface in Logic Pro, then you may also wish to delete the com.apple.logic.pro.cs file from the preferences folder. If you have upgraded from Logic Pro 7, you may also need to remove /Library/Preferences/Logic/com.apple.logic.pro.
I've just bought PC with Windows 10, I'm using it for music production. After installing my music production software (Fruity Loops Studio 9) I connected my Midi Keyboard to the USB 3.0 port and it I had no issues.
I was making music the entire first dayof owning my new PC, and the USB Midi keyboard worked perfectly.By the second day, I decided to install updates for my PC. After applying updates and restarting my PC, I returned to making music, only now to find my PC not recognizing the USB Midi keyboard anymore.

I've tried disconnecting from the 3.0 port and connectingto 2.0 to see if that was the issue. It's day three now and nothing seems to fix my problem.PC: CyberPowerPC GLC3600WCPU: intel i7 6700k 4.0GhzGPU: AMD Radeon R7 360RAM: 8GB DDR4-RAM 1600hzUSB Midi Keyboard: Samson Carbon 49DAW (Digital Audio Workstation), (music production software):Fruity Loops Studio 9.0 XXL v9.0.0.
